About the Founder and President

QE Foundation was founded by George Ricci.  His background in mathematics, psychology and geriatrics has helped him in discovering the theoretical aspects of the QE Principle and the QE Staffing and Scheduling Methods.  In addition, his combined thirty years of government and private consulting work experience in dealing with the administration, regulation, and overall functioning of hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term mental health and mental retardation facilities has led him to focus on using his discoveries to advance both the quality and efficiency in health care delivery systems.

He also helped start the Philadelphia Chapter of Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders Association and was a member of the board of directors for eight years.  During this time, he developed the first free standing Alzheimer’s care nursing home (Praxis, Easton, PA) in the country based on the QE Staffing & Scheduling Methods.

He is now using that theoretical and practical knowledge with the QE Foundation to provide charitable tax exempt education and research to benefit health care businesses and services.  He is also interested in helping the QE Foundation expand its education and research initiatives in the general business community and in private and government service organizations.
