The QE Foundation, through its Consultant Network Program, is currently helping long term care facilities and hospitals better understand how nurse staffing and scheduling methods directly impact their quality and efficiency.
The QE Foundation also provides seminar and workshop programs about the QE Staffing and Scheduling Methods. A recently conducted "Train-the-Trainer Workshop" has certified the following three new presenters to offer their own seminar/workshop programs on the QE Staffing & Scheduling Methods:
Shari Ward, RN, CPHQ, CDONA/LTC. Shari is the Project Manager for the Nursing Home Quality Initiative at the Colorado Foundation for Medical Care.
Bernadette Nelson, RN. Bernadette is the Project Manager for the Nursing Home Quality Initiative at the South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care.
Jeff West, RN, MPH. Jeff is a Clinical Consultant with Qualis Health serving the Nursing Home Quality Initiative in Washington. Jeff is also responsible for suggesting the "Train-the-Trainer Workshop" which is now provided by the QE Foundation.

The QE Foundation, in addition to its consulting and education programs, is working toward funding trial research projects on the QE Staffing and Scheduling Methods in selected health care facilities.
